Somthing's Cookin'

So, we finally have an ultrasound picture to show everyone. It's absolutely amazing what you can see on the ultrasound. I think one of the kids definitely looks like Kristi but she swears the kid is taking after my side of the family. I'll let you be the judge.

Kristi's Belly

Well, here it is--the first picture of Kristi and her belly. The clothes help to cover it up and don't do it justice. I tried to get her to take her shirt off for the picture but she said that would be pregnant porn. I think it would be cute but whatever. I actually love the belly. I think it's very cute and that Kristi is more beautiful than ever right now. I couldn't be more proud of my wife.

For those of you who have seen her recently, you'll note the bulge about her belly. For those of you who haven't seen her in awhile, I promise she has not been hitting the pay-by-the-pound barbecue joint. Although, her cousin Boyd suggested that we have a barbecue blowout each weekend to help keep the babies fed. Great idea Boyd! What's really great about this bulge is she's only 13 weeks along. To have a bulge this big already is pretty impressive and is due to the two baby trombonists growing in her. I haven't seen their trombones in the ultrasounds yet but expect they will show up anytime now. I read they start playing around week 15.

Next time I will try to scan and put in ultrasound pictures of the kids. Until then, have a great week.

First Post Ever!

So, this is my first post ever. My wife, Kristi, is pregnant with our first children. That's right, children. We're having twins thanks to modern medicine. This blog is a way to keep my family informed of what's going on and to post pictures as we go through this wonderful time together.

I'm really excited about this whole thing. I think Kristi is going to make a great mom and hopefully, I'll make an okay dad. I just hope not to screw them up too badly. If the truth be told, I'm just really excited to have someone to clean the toilets and dust for me. How young is too young to have your children clean toilets and dust? I wonder.

Now's a good time to clear one thing up. For anyone who doesn't know me, I can be a bit sarcastic at times. In fact, it's my first language. I'm actually bilingual in sarcasm and English. Anyway, before anyone reports me to Child Protective Services, just know that I'm almost always kidding.

Back to the blog. I hope to post every week with pictures. We'll see how that goes but that's the plan. So, until next time, have a great week.
